Research and Interests
My current research is in the field of Digital Signal Processing, more specifically on sampling theory, where I explore methods for spectral recovery of sub-Nyquist sampled signals.
As an undergraduate student, I was also a researcher in the Parallel and Distributed Processing Group (GPPD), where I worked for about two years on a project with Petrobras in the fields of Computer Graphics, Computational Geophysics and High-Performance Computing.
I also have an interest in linguistics and I study foreign languages as a hobby. I hold a C2 level of English and I'm currently studying Japanese.
My favourite languages are C, C++, and Japanese.
